Custom Design Pricing structure
Every custom-made dress at Vola Boutique is created to suit your style, precise measurements, and the occasion — with meticulous attention to detail. We can work from your favorite Pinterest board or any reference images you have in mind for your special occasion dress.
All prices are estimates and subject to change based on the final design specifications, the complexity of the work, fabric selection, and embellishments. A 60% deposit is required to begin the design process.
This pricing guide is intended to help you understand where your desired gown fits within your pricing range.
Please note: All prices include fabrics. We do not accept client-supplied fabrics.

Plain Couture Dress
From R9,500 to R10,500
Includes semi-formal couture designs with limited corset or bustier construction, made from premium plain fabrics.
Note: This range excludes beading or fancy fabrics and elaborate embellishments. (Will be charge at extra cost)
Women’s Formal & Couture Suits
From R8,500 to R15,000
Includes a two-piece set: jacket with either a skirt or pants. Designed with refined details such as French or semi-beaded lace accents, cut-out elements, and tasteful embellishments for an elegant, couture finish
Couture style Gown or Outfit with Embellishments
From R12,000 to R17,500
This range includes elegant designs made from premium silky or shimmer fabrics, enhanced with hand-sewn appliques embellishments.
May feature complex draping or detailed necklines.
Beaded Corset with Light Embellishments & Simple Skirt
From R13,000 to R15,500
Features a semi-beaded lace corset bodice with light embellishments and simple construction, paired with a plain skirt made from silk or soft, semi-beaded lace fabric.
Fully Beaded Dress
From R17,500 to 21,000
Sophisticated corset bodice paired with a fully beaded skirt—both top and bottom. Corset soft hand stitched beadwork, feathers, and detailed appliques embellishments. May includes overlay train or cape depending on the design.
Over-the-Top Gown
From From 23,500 – R30,500
Extravagant design featuring luxurious details such as feathers, 3D appliqués, crystals, and more. Designed with fully exclusive beaded lace fabrics, or premium taffeta, raw silk, Guipure lace, enhanced with dramatic, intricate extras embellishments
Ballgowns with Ruffled or Layered Skirts
From R15,500 to R30,000
Couture style created with sophisticated detailing and exclusive fabrics. Feature ruffled or layered skirts, tulle or lace overlays, fully beaded lace corsets, lace appliqués, or 3D hand-stitched embellishments for a luxurious and dramatic effect.
